Traveler of the Month: Keefe G!
Name: Keefe G.
City, State: Dallas, TX
1. How did you get into travel nursing?
I got into travel nursing because I came across so many travel nurses who told me I need to get into it. Helped that the hospital I worked with was terrible, so it was really a no brainer haha.

2. What’s the best part about traveling?
Best part about traveling is meeting so many new people. Some good, some bad, but it’s always nice to see different ways people do nursing. Oh and seeing awesome places, that’s pretty cool too.
3. You meet a first-time traveler in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, which restaurant is a must for them to try?
4. What’s the best part about the Dallas/Fort Worth area?
Best part about the DFW area is the diversity in its atmosphere. In Fort Worth you have your country style quiet area but also a poppin college town right next to each other. And if you want to be fancy and act like you have a lot of money, downtown Dallas is right up your alley.

5. Any advice for other travelers?
Stack your paper. Paychecks are awesome and it’s nice to not live paycheck to paycheck, BUT take it from me, Stack your money, or else you’re going to look back and tell yourself you’re dumb because you should have an enormous stack sitting in your bank
6. What do you like best about working with Axis?
I love working with Axis because they haven’t steered me wrong yet. My recruiter is responsive and extremely easy to talk to and get along with. And they will always give me a heads up if I’m going to go into a not so good work environment. But so far I’ve been placed in some amazing hospitals.
Congrats Keefe! We’re so glad you joined the Axis team! 🙂
